DAY 3

By taxis we went to Hanok Village (Kimchi Guesthouse).  It close to Gyeongbokgung  Palace -walking distance only.. Oh thank god. He makes us easy....Entrance fee :  3000 won (RM9). Other places nearby are  Changgyong Palace and Gwanghwamun,  Bukak, Cheong Wa Dae. Finally I realise that the Cheonggyecheon Stream  also locate in this area.

This house has 6 rooms... small but nice. Korean stile. They tried to preserve the old house but modern facilities  

We did 'samak' all kitchenette items before use or cook

 with the host ; Kimchi. She's friendly

After rested for a while, then we went to Gyeongbokgung  Palace

DAY 2

We bought T-money (use as tough and go) for everybody. Use it as subway ticket and buying in shops that display t-money. We can top-up it.!!

Early morning, took breakfast and pack for lunch, straight to Nami Island 

First take subway to Gapyeong Station. From here, take taxi to Nami Island.It takes only 5 minutes and cost about 3000 won (RM9)

We went to Kwanjang Market to by clothes. Textile's world. Women must fall in love....

my mum... tired. But she manage to buy few cotton cloths. Evening, we spent our night at Cheonggyecheon Stream.

INCHEON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

 It was 15 members in this trip.  Our flight was 8.00 am.

We landed at Incheon International Airport (IIA) about 2 pm (Malaysia time).  Here we solat 'Qasar n Jamak" . Next to collecting luggage area. Use our smartphone to located the 'Qiblat'. Berjemaah lagi...

We took Jumbo Taxi (can occupied 8 persons) to Iteawon. About 1 hour journey and it cost us RM300 per taxi 

HOW DID I PLAN MY BUDGET TRIP TO KOREA

1. It was not in my plan at first place. But after posting on fb to invite  friends to joint, it became reality. My friends and I started to make flight tickets reservation. Airasia lah. Cheap is our priority. We booked tickets. It about rm 1000++  including meal, luggage and insurance.(per pax) Date : 27 May 2013 to 31 May 2013. Here Korea...We booked it on January

2. Next, every free time I started search all interesting places in Korea to visit. "Google" help me a lot. And thanks to few blogs with more information. Plus try to locate the places by Google maps to arrange itinerary....

DAY 1 (27 Mei 2013)

All in Korea time zone

4.00 PM           Arriving Seoul

                         By taxi (umbo(boleh memuatkan hingga 9 penumpang. )to Iteawon (  about 60 km away – RM300 per taxi)

                        Check in guesthousen (Hotel dan Spa Iteawon)

                         Itaewon Land is #736-11 Hannam-dong Youngsan-gu Seoul

-3min walkaway from Itaewon Subway Station

                        (accomodation and Korean style spa and sauna).

7.00 pm           Free and easy

                        Suggestion place to go;

 - dinner at Muslim restaurant di Iteawon

- Han Riverside Park (nice view in night)

- buy T-money card and topup first at Mart

- Night market at Iteawon

DAY 2 (28 Mei 2013)

7.00 AM          - breakfast + pack  from Muslim restaurant or our own pack

8.30 AM          - Nami Island

Take subway to Nami Island. First take subway to Gapyeong Station. From here, take taxi to Nami Island.It takes only 5 minutes and cost about 3000 won (RM9)

Entry ticket 8000 won by ferry.

4.00  PM         - Shopping at Kwangjang Market.

                          Take subway line 1 to Jongno 5 (oh)ga Station. Exit 8. Walk straight and see signboard Kwangjang Market in our left.  Enter first gate .

8.00 PM           - Cheonggyecheon Stream. 

Take subway to Gwangwhamun Station to Cheonggyecheon Stream. Here we can see rainbow color river during night.

DAY 3 (29 Mei 2013)

7.00 PM           - breakfast

                        - check out

8.30 PM           - by taxi  to Hanok Homestay

                        - leave baggages

                        - Gyeongbokgung  Palace -walking

                         Entrance fee :  3000 won (RM9)

                        Other places nearby are  Changgyong Palace and Gwanghwamun,  Bukak, Cheong Wa Dae. 

12.00 PM        - Backto Hanok homestay

- shopping at  Dongdaemoon Market, Seoul Central Station( Insa-dong, Blue House- if we still have time)

8.00 PM          - From Dongdeamon, take bus to Namsan Tower to  view Seoul in night. Laser performance.

                          Entrance fee to Tower including Teddy Bear Museum 14000 won.

DAY 4 (30 Mei 2013)

7.00 PM           - breakfast (pack for lunch too)

                        - we are allowed to use their kitchen. Bawa je tanah tayamum untuk samak kitchenette items

8.00 PM            - Everland Word ( 2 hours journey from Seoul) or Lotte Word (like Genting Theame Park – nearer)

- HOW TO GO EVERLAND

METHOD 1

Go to Gangnam Station, Line 2, Exit 6 or 7. Walk pass by the Dunckin Donats and cross the road.  The bus stops are in the middle of busy road. Wait for bus 5002 to everland

METHOD 2

Go to Jamsil Station. Line2 exit 6. Bus 5800

DAY 5 (31 Mei 2013)

7.00 PM           - breakfast

                        - pack all luggage before leaving

8.00  PM          - shopping or War Memorial ???

                         Open 9.00 am

10 minutes by walking from Subway line 1, Namyeong Station

-Yongsan Park

12.00 PM         - Check out and to airport

4.25 PM           - Depart for KL

3. The next step, made hotel reservation. Luckily, I found BnH web which provides homestays in Korea. Cheaper than hotels! And most important, we can cook….At the end, I booked 2 types of homestay. 1 , hotel and spa in Iteawon and 2,  Hanok homestay at  Gyeongbokgung. In walking distance to Gyeongbokgung Palace. 

4. Until then; just wait ...before leaving, I emailed the host of homestay just to remind them our  check in.  And I also printed the address and the telephone number in case  we coud'nt find that place. Yes, it really useful because the taxi driver cannot speak English. I just gave it to him and he called the owner for direction!

5. Finally, we end up with under budget cost!!!  So I can plan for other trips.... 

BEG FOR ALL PURPOSES
